MSE Society

The Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) Society is the official undergraduate student organization for the Materials Science and Engineering Department at the University of Pennsylvania. We are dedicated to bringing students together outside of the classroom. We host social events and professional development opportunities for students and participate in outreach to local elementary, middle school, and high school students. 

MSE Society plans a number of department-wide as well as undergraduate-only events throughout the year such as general meetings, trivia, alumni and career panels, and major-wide socials. We also organize year-wide lunches and dinners, town halls, and meals with faculty. In the past, we have also collaborated with other departments to host joint engineering events.
